Installation

Prep

Mark the shock so you know where to glue the seem of the sleeve so it won't be seen

Take your shock off and remove the springs

wire brush the threads and the smooth shock body to remove debris

Wipe oil and residue from the shock body and the sleeves using  some kind of contact cleaner

Dry Fit

if your shock has raised threads first slide on the spacer sleeve below the threads and check for fitment (see video for more detail)

then, slide the main sleeve down and check for fitment (see video for more detail)

Install

apply adhesive, smear around with sleeve then remove sleeve to allow set up time for the adhesive (8-10  minutes)

slide spacer sleeve (if using) into place 

tighten hose clamps just enough to hold the spacer sleeve in place while the adhesive dries

apply adhesive to threads and outside of spacer sleeve,  smear adhesive around using the main sleeve and remove main sleeve to allow set up time for the adhesive.

slide main sleeve into place

tighten hose clamps around main sleeve just enough the hold it in place while the adhesive dries (at least 10 minutes)

Remove hose clamps and clean up any left over adhesive with wire brush

reinstall your springs on the shock and the shock on your vehicles
